Wilfried Rimensberger The 80's multi-media superstar rock music project Phenomena started by brothers Tom and Mel Galley, co-produced and directed by Metalhammer magazine founder Wilfried Rimensberger, has started to record demo material for a new concept album to be releast next year, to celebrate 25 years of Phenomena recordings. Previous contributers such as rock guitar Gods Kioji Yamamoto, Scott Gorham, Brian May, and many more are currently being lined-up to record in memory of Mel Galley (Whitesnake, Trapeze), who died in June 2008. The recordings, taking place during early 2010 in the UK, Scandinavia and Switzerland, will also feature some of the best rock voices from around the world. Tom Galley has just released his latest album "Blind Faith", which is getting favourable critics. After Tom's and Wilfried's reunion last year and settling old differences, the album is largely seen as the dawn for a new Phenomena era.

Mick Glossop is mixing a new album for Paul Carrack at AIR Lyndhurst studio 2. He is also producing the new album for for Sparkydog, in their project studio in Hollywood, Florida. Their current single, "Red Light", is currently enjoying massive radio play in the AC format on U.S. commercial radio, and also on college radio stations across the U.S.

He has just finished mixing the new album "Broken Record" for Lloyd Cole in his own hybrid Pro Tools/vintage analogue studio in West London (www.mickglossop.com/studio).

Mick has also recently produced new tracks for Ariel.

Blue Weaver has been recording and mixing a new album for Spanish singer/songwriter Arturo Torrés in Málaga. He is now writing for an exciting new project to be recorded in Nashville at the end of the year.

Tony Platt - I have finally finished the album, started some time ago, with Jacqui Dankworth featuring arrangements by her father John. We are delighted with the results and I think these are some of the best vocal performances Jacqui has ever delivered. Also completed an E.P. with Natalia Dusso and will be mastering next week. Have completed tracking with a great young band, These Furrows and Chris Sheldon has mixed it. Launched a label with my good friend Adam Sieff. Mark Rose is currently developing and producing art rockers Nephu Huzzband..with their 2nd album due in in 2010/2011 with plans to work alongside Alex Newport (Death Cab for Cutie,Does it Offend You Yeah!, Johnny Foreigner, 65 days of Static,Stone Foxes) Mark is currently working with 2 other UK rock acts in pre-production during 2010.

Haydn Bendall Just putting the last touches to albums for Camilla Kerslake (http://camillakerslake.com), Russell Watson (http://www.russell-watson.com) and The Priests (http://www.thepriests.com). Been a very busy Spring and Summer but have worked in some of my favourite studios with favourite musicians. AIR, Abbey Road, The Strongroom, Amberville and The Shop. Guess what? One of the majors sent me mp3 files to ask what I thought of some mastering that had been done in my absence! Starting work on a track written by my dear friend Eric Woolfson this week and meeting up again with dear Sally Herbert discussing more projects together. Also Jelone, one of the artists signed to my label is getting very busy indeed!

Stevan Krakovic is currently finishing off Tom Mansi & The Icebreakers new album „Welcome Intruder“, which will come out later this year on Kartel Creative.
The album was entirely recorded, mixed and produced at the band‘s north London Shock & Awe Studios.

I co-produced mixed & mastered her first album 2 years ago & it has done very well with many of the tracks being licenced for differant comp album,s including 2 sony comp & 1 emi comp album.So im hoping the second album will do as good if not better.Im also currently writing my solo d&b album with guest vocalist,s including cathy battitessa.Im also close to finishing my Life Audience www.myspace.com/lifeaudience debut album with kirsty morris & myself .A really nice chilled sound.Im also in the studio tuesday & wednesday of this week with legendery mixing engineer Dave Ford a good friend of mine to work on some Nu-Electro material.

George Shilling - George has recorded, mixed and mastered the Haiti Classical Relief single "The Prayer" which is released on Mothering Sunday March 14th.

The artistes were recorded at Angel and Metropolis Studios, and the track was mixed and mastered by George at Bank Cottage Studio.

George also played bass guitar on the track.

In other news, George recorded and mixed "Dawn Cried The Day" at Bank Cottage for Ocean Colour Scene's next single release, the band declaring it "the best recording we've ever done!" His cello playing also features on their recent album release "Saturday".

Marco Migliari is currently producing and mixing UK band Nylo's (www.nylo.co.uk) first record, recorded at Real World Studios and, after some final tweaks, soon to be mixed at his own Green Room Studio. With a single already on iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/it/album/i-keep-fallin-single/id328320387) the forthcoming album should be release early next year.

Another interesting project that Marco has recently engineered is the collaboration between historic King Crimson's drummer Michael Giles (http://www.myspace.com/gilesdrums) and jazz pianist Keith Tippett, himself a session player for King Crimson in the old days. The aptly named Mad Band project (which sees also the contribution of Ad Chivers on percussion and Dan Pennie on the guitar) is an experimental session which will culminate in its second album, which Marco will mix at his studio in the new year.

Marco couldn't completely betray his Italian origins as he's also producing the 4th album for Rome-based band Fonderia (http://www.myspace.com/fonderia) - an (almost) instrumental 5-piece group with an incredibly organic sound, a medley of Pink Floyd, Sigur Ròs and avant-garde jazz with strong flavours and unexpected textures.

Finally, Marco has recently completed the album mix for upcoming Dutch artist Aestrid (http://www.myspace.com/aestrid), a rare talent who has dedicated the last 3 years working on his second record. Aestrid music is deep, wide and yet in your face, having both a fragile side and an effortlessly driven prog edge.

Malcolm Ford has recently completed a selection of Jazz standards with Mitch Winehouse (Amy's Father) which has been picked up by management to push for labels to re-record with a full orchestra. You can certainly hear where Amy get's it from!

Nicky Graham is currently Producing and Album with a ElectroPop act called Punch and Judys, who are managed by legendary manager Tom Watkins ( BROS E17 Pet Shop Boys )

He will be recording an album with Lee Mead early next year.

Nicky is also Producing a Musical based on the life of Marc Bolan which is planned to open in the West End in September 2010.
